Class VIII / 'O' Level


  Admission in this College is done only once in a year in Class VIII/GCE 'O' Level. Applications are invited by the end of November every year. The test is conducted in the 1st week of January.

  The Last Date for receipt of Application forms is normally 1st December each year. Applications may also be accepted with a late fee of Rs 500/- till 10th December.

"NO APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE".

  Eligibility. Conditions of eligibility for admission are as under:

  1. Age:  The candidate must not be over 14 and under 12 years of age on 1st April of the year of Entry. No relaxation of age, even a single day, is permissible.

  2. Educational Standard:  The candidate must have passed Class-7 or equivalent by 1st April of the year of Entry.

    3.   Courses Offered:

          a. Matriculation   :  Science Group (Physics, Chemistry, Math & Biology or Computer)

          b. GCE 'O' Level  :  Science Group (Physics, Chemistry, Math & Biology)

Written Test

An open competitive examination comprising three papers (Mathematics, English and Urdu-Islamiyat) is held in the month of December every year. Each paper is of 1½ hours duration. Mathematics paper is different for Matriculation Course and GCE 'O' Level Course.

Urdu-Islamiyat Paper is compulsory, and no alternative subject is allowed. The candidates from overseas countries must qualify in this paper. However, the non-Muslim candidates may leave out the Islamiyat part of the Paper.

The syllabi for the Admission Test are given at Appendix 'A' in the Prospectus. The Entrance Test for the College is a competitive examination. The syllabi given in the Prospectus are meant for the general guidance of the candidates and any question considered suitable can be set in any Paper in any form.

Interviews and Medical Examination

The candidates who qualify in the Written Examination are required to appear for Interview and Medical Examination at the centres given below after the announcement of result. Candidates at Riyadh and Sharjah Centres are interviewed on the next day after the written test. Their medical examination is done at the College before joining. Only those candidates who are found medically fit will be considered for the admission. Places are offered on the results of the tests/interview in the order of merit. The results are strictly confidential, and no correspondence is entertained in this connection. Successful candidates join the college in last week of April/First week of May.
