Parents’
day is the mega event of Cadet College Hasan abdal. It was held on 2nd
of December 2008. Governor of Punjab Mr. Sulman Taseer honored this auspicious
event by his presence as the Chief Guest. He arrived at the college at 10 am
and visited the exhibition and was briefed by the stall-boys about the
exhibits. He appreciated the efforts of the cadets and their display. Then he
moved to the parade ground escorted by the riding squad and was given guard of
honor by the cadets, followed by the parade. P.T show displayed by the cadets
in the oval was a worth seeing sight. A few cadets displayed their best skills
of riding and then there was a lovely show of gymnastics. The cadet acrobats
performed enthusiastically and wonderfully. Principal gave annual report to the
Chief Guest and the guests. He also invited the Chief Guest for distributing
the prizes. He appreciated the whole function and the efforts put by the
cadets, the faculty and the administration. At the end there was refreshment
for the Chief Guest, faculty, parents and the cadets.
